Rankings are won page by page. We tune the content, headings, metadata, internal links and structured data on your key pages so Google — and your customers — understand exactly what each one offers.
You can have a fast site and great links and still miss out — if your pages don't clearly answer the search.
On-page SEO closes the gap between what people search for and what your pages actually say.
What's included
Every on-page element, working together.
On-page SEO covers everything you control on the page itself. Done properly, it's often the fastest way to lift rankings for pages that are already close to page one.
Keyword-to-page mapping
One clear primary topic per page, so your pages stop competing with each other and each one targets the searches it can win.
Titles, meta & headings
Title tags and descriptions written to rank and earn the click, with heading structures that make the page easy to scan.
Content optimisation
Existing copy improved to cover what searchers actually want to know — clearer answers, better structure, no keyword stuffing.
Internal linking
Links between related pages that guide visitors and pass authority to the pages that matter most commercially.
Schema & rich results
Structured data for FAQs, services, products, reviews and organisation details so your listings stand out in search.
Images & user experience
Descriptive alt text, compressed images, readable layouts and clear calls to action that keep visitors moving towards an enquiry.
How we work
From page audit to page one.
01
Audit your key pages
We review your priority pages against the results Google currently ranks — content depth, intent match, metadata, links and schema.
02
Map keywords to pages
Each page gets a clear primary keyword and supporting terms, with any cannibalisation or gaps identified.
03
Optimise & implement
We write the recommendations — or the changes themselves — and can implement directly in your CMS where you'd like us to.
04
Measure & refine
Rankings, clicks and conversions are tracked page by page, and we keep refining the pages that are close to breaking through.
On-page SEO that took a lead-gen site from invisible to 2,223 clicks
A Sydney car customisation business with almost no organic footprint. Focused on-page work and restructuring content for featured snippets took the site to 2,223 estimated clicks a month.
Unable to match competitors' paid budgets, Miss Amara went all-in on organic. We targeted high-intent phrases and earned the rankings to match — compounding growth across 19 months.
Technical audits and a refreshed keyword strategy took Reline A Pipe from an estimated six organic visits a month to 310, with top-10 rankings up nearly 5×.
The most important on-page question isn't "is the keyword in the title?" — it's "does this page give searchers what they came for?" Google looks at how well a page satisfies the intent behind a search. Someone searching "commercial cleaning cost" wants pricing guidance; someone searching "commercial cleaners near me" wants a provider they can contact.
Before we touch any copy, we study the pages Google already ranks for your target searches. That tells us what format, depth and information the page needs, and where you can do better than what's there now.
02
Fixing keyword cannibalisation
When several pages on your site target the same search, they compete with each other and none of them ranks as well as one strong page would. It's common on sites that have grown over time — a service page, a blog post and a location page all chasing the same phrase. We identify these overlaps and fix them by refocusing, merging or redirecting pages, then use internal links to make it clear which page should rank. Our keyword research services build the map that prevents it happening again.
03
Content that ranks and converts
On-page optimisation isn't about adding words for the sake of it. We tighten vague copy, answer the questions customers actually ask, add proof such as examples and case studies, and make the next step obvious. Where a page needs substantial new content, our content development team writes it to the same standard.
We also look beyond Google's blue links. Clear, well-structured answers and schema make your pages easier for AI assistants to quote — the foundation of being cited in AI-generated answers.
04
Who on-page SEO suits
On-page SEO works as a standalone project for businesses with a solid site that isn't ranking as well as it should, or as part of an ongoing SEO campaign. Either way, you'll work with a senior strategist from our Sydney office with 10+ years of experience — not a junior working through a checklist — and with no long lock-in contract.
Questions
On-page SEO, answered.
What's the difference between on-page and technical SEO?+
On-page SEO focuses on the content and elements of individual pages — copy, headings, metadata, internal links, schema. Technical SEO looks at the site as a whole: crawling, indexing, speed, site architecture and code. Most sites benefit from both.
How quickly does on-page SEO work?+
Pages that already rank on page two or low on page one often move within weeks of being improved, once Google recrawls them. Newer pages or very competitive terms take longer and usually need links as well.
Will you rewrite our content?+
Where it's needed, yes. Sometimes small edits to titles, headings and structure are enough; other pages need substantial rewriting. We'll recommend the right level for each page and keep your brand voice intact.
Can you implement the changes for us?+
Yes. We can provide detailed recommendations for your team or developers, or make the changes directly in WordPress, Shopify and most other CMSs.
How many pages should we optimise?+
We start with the pages closest to revenue — core services, key categories and pages already ranking just off page one — then work outward. Fewer pages done properly beats every page done lightly.
Do you still need to build links?+
On-page work can lift rankings on its own, especially for less competitive searches. For competitive terms, strong pages plus authority from links is what gets you to the top.
