Google Shopping Agency &
Performance Max Management

Shopping is won or lost in the product feed long before a bid is placed. We fix the feed, structure Performance Max around your margins and manage every campaign to a target return on ad spend.

10+
years' experience for every senior strategist on your account

✓ Merchant Center ✓ Feed optimisation ✓ Performance Max ✓ Target ROAS

Most Shopping accounts don't have a bidding problem. They have a feed problem that no amount of budget will fix.

Weak titles, missing attributes and disapproved products quietly cap your reach. We start where Google starts: with the data you send it.

What's included

Shopping and Performance Max,
managed from the feed up.

Everything an Australian retailer needs to turn product listings into profitable sales, from Merchant Center health to the reporting your finance team will actually trust.

Product feed optimisation

Titles, descriptions, product types, GTINs and custom labels rewritten so your products match how people really search, and so we can segment by margin, price band or seasonality.

Merchant Center health

Disapprovals, misrepresentation warnings, shipping and returns settings, price and availability mismatches: diagnosed and fixed, then monitored so they don't creep back.

Performance Max structure

Asset groups built around real product groupings, with search themes, audience signals and brand exclusions set deliberately rather than left to defaults.

Standard Shopping where it wins

Not every product belongs in PMax. We run Standard Shopping alongside it when you need tighter control over search terms, hero products or clearance stock.

Bidding to margin, not revenue

Target ROAS set by product group and profit, not a single blanket number, so you stop paying to sell low-margin lines at a loss.

Clear ecommerce reporting

Revenue, ROAS, new versus returning customers and product-level performance in one report, reconciled against your store platform.

How we work

From messy feed
to profitable Shopping.

01

Audit the feed and account

We review Merchant Center diagnostics, feed quality, current campaign structure, search terms and conversion tracking to find where spend is being wasted.

02

Fix the foundations

Feed rules or a supplemental feed improve titles and attributes, custom labels add margin and stock data, and purchase tracking is checked end to end, including enhanced conversions.

03

Rebuild the campaigns

Performance Max asset groups and any Standard Shopping campaigns are structured around how your products actually make money, each with its own target.

04

Optimise every week

We work through product performance, search term insights, asset results and feed changes weekly, and report monthly against your agreed ROAS target.

How we approach Performance Max

Performance Max now runs most retail campaigns in Google Ads, serving across Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display, Discover and Gmail from a single campaign. It can work very well, but left on defaults it tends to chase cheap branded traffic and existing customers, then report the result as growth.

We set Performance Max up with intent. That means asset groups organised around genuine product groupings, search themes that steer it toward the right queries, audience signals built from your customer lists and site visitors, brand exclusions where branded search is already covered, and new customer goals when acquisition matters more than repeat sales. We then use the channel, search term and asset reporting Google now provides to see what's really driving results.

02

When Standard Shopping still makes sense

Performance Max isn't the answer for every product. Standard Shopping gives you search term control, negative keywords and predictable spend on specific lines. We often run it alongside PMax for hero products, high-margin ranges, clearance stock or new launches that need a guaranteed share of budget. The aim is the right mix of campaigns for your catalogue, not loyalty to one campaign type.

03

Measuring what Shopping is really worth

Shopping performance is only as accurate as your conversion tracking. We check that purchase values flow through correctly, that enhanced conversions are in place and that Google Ads revenue reconciles with your Shopify, WooCommerce or BigCommerce sales. If tracking needs work, our conversion tracking setup service fixes it before we start making decisions on the numbers.

Shopping also works best as part of a wider plan. Many retailers pair it with Google Ads search campaigns for high-intent category terms and with ecommerce SEO so paid and organic listings support each other on the same results page.

04

Senior-led, with no lock-in

Your Shopping account is run by a senior strategist with 10+ years' experience, not handed to a junior after the sales call. You own your Google Ads and Merchant Center accounts outright, we don't trap clients in long contracts, and every campaign is built around a target ROAS we agree with you at the start. Questions

Google Shopping, answered.

What's the difference between Google Shopping and Performance Max?+
Shopping ads are the product listings with images and prices that appear in Google results. Performance Max is a campaign type that can show those Shopping ads plus ads on YouTube, Display, Discover and Gmail from one campaign. Most retailers now run PMax, and many still use Standard Shopping campaigns alongside it for tighter control.
Do I need a Google Merchant Center account?+
Yes. Merchant Center holds your product feed, and both Standard Shopping and Performance Max for retail rely on it. If you don't have one, or yours has disapprovals or warnings, we'll set it up or fix it as part of onboarding.
Which ecommerce platforms do you work with?+
We regularly work with Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento and custom platforms. The approach is the same: get a clean, well-structured feed into Merchant Center and make sure purchase tracking is accurate.
How long before we see results?+
Feed and Merchant Center fixes can lift impressions within a few weeks. Performance Max usually needs several weeks of conversion data to settle after a restructure, so we judge results over a full month or more rather than day to day.
Can you set ROAS targets by product?+
Yes. Using custom labels in your feed, we group products by margin, price or performance and give each group its own target, so profitable lines get the budget and low-margin products don't eat it.
Will I own my accounts?+
Always. Your Google Ads and Merchant Center accounts, data and history belong to you. We work in them on your behalf and there are no long lock-in contracts.
