Users can always choose not to receive this type of content and/or communication pieces and can do so by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in the emails we send to them. 

Usage Data

We may also collect information regarding how the Service is accessed and used (“Usage Data”). This type of diagnostic data may include, but is not limited to, the following information:

Four Dots may use and store the data about user location (“Location Data”), only if the user gives us permission to do so. Users can use their device settings to enable or disable location services when they are using our Service.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data Under General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

For the users from the European Economic Area (EEA), Four Dots’ legal basis for collecting and using your personal information is described in this Privacy Policy and depends on the Personal Data we collect and the specific context in which we collect your Personal Information.

Four Dots may process your Personal Data because:

  • We need to create a contract with you
  • You gave us permission to process your data 
  • Data processing is in our legitimate interests and it’s not overridden by your rights
  • We need to comply with the adequate law

Retention of Data

Four Dots only retains your Personal Data for the necessary period of time and for the purposes laid out in this Privacy Policy. Four Dots retains and uses Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with legal obligations and applicable laws, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

We will also retain Usage Data for purposes of internal analysis. Typically, Usage Data is retained for shorter timeframes, unless:

  • this type of data is used to improve the functionality of our Service
  • we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer timeframes

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyse the use of our Service.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is Google’s web analytics service that tracks website traffic and provides reports on traffic data. Google collects the data and uses it to track and monitor the use of our Service. The data that GA tracks can be shared with other Google services, while Google may also use it to contextualize and personalize the ads within its own advertising network. Users can choose not to provide their activity on the Service to Google Analytics and can do so by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Behavioral Retargeting (Remarketing)

Four Dots uses remarketing services to advertise on third-party websites after a visitor visited our Service. Our agency and our third-party vendors utilize cookies to inform, optimize and serve ads based on the user’s past visits to our Service.

Google Ads

Google Ads is an online advertising platform developed by Google. Users can choose not to share their activity with Google Analytics for the purposes of Display Advertising and can customize the Google Display Network ads. This can be done here. Users can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on for their web browser (available here) through which they can prevent their information from being collected and used by Google Analytics. Facebook remarketing service is provided by Facebook Inc. Users can opt-out from and control Facebook’s personalised ads by following the instructions provided here. Facebook adheres to the Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising established by the Digital Advertising Alliance. Users can opt out from Facebook and other participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance in the USA, the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada in Canada, or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance in Europe, or through changing their mobile device settings.

Children’s Privacy

Four Dots’ Service does not address persons under the age of 18 (“Children”). Our agency doesn’t knowingly collect or process personally identifiable information belonging to anyone under the age of 18. Parents or guardians who are aware that their child has provided our agency with Personal Data should contact our team. Should we become aware that our company has collected a child’s Personal Data without the verification of parental consent, Four Dots will take all the necessary steps to remove that data from our servers.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Four Dots may periodically update this Privacy Policy. Should there be any changes, we will notify you of those changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. We will send timely notifications to our users via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to those changes coming into effect.
